The London Road Safety Council (LRSC) is participating in the 2021 Festival of Road Safety, an online event taking place throughout November.
The Festival of Road Safety, organised by Road Safety GB, will run online from 1-26 November.
All the content will be aired free-to-view by all – and will comprise a mix of around 40 pre-recorded and live presentations, workshops, podcasts and live discussion sessions.
The LRSC is one of 14 presentations already added to the programme page on the Festival website.
Delivered by James Parker, the LRSC’s executive officer, the presentation will detail the ‘It’s a Jungle Out There!’ campaign.
Launched by the LRSC earlier this year, the campaign comprised social media and training resources, aimed at encouraging parents to have a chat about road safety before their children started in Year 7.
This included a series of videos, featuring jungle characters.
The campaign also saw local road safety officers visit schools in 11 London boroughs to offer tips and advice on how to stay safe.
Details of when James’ presentation will be published will be made available in early October.
