Pedestrian Training
Quote from Laura Cheyne on October 11, 2016, 10:45 amMy colleague who has always delivered our pedestrian training was made redundant at the end of September and so I am going to have to use an outside company to deliver pedestrian training going forward. Typically training has been delivered to Year 3/4 pupils in the borough.
Is anyone aware of or could recommend any companies that might be able to deliver training for me in London? I know most boroughs deliver the training themselves but if anyone has any leads I would be very grateful!

Sorry I don't have details of a provider, but we use volunteers to deliver our Walkability Training Scheme.
We work with the schools to recruit the volunteers who come from all sectors of the school community. We have Governors, TAs, parents, grandparents and School Crossing Patrols amongst our trainers.
We train them and provide them with a syllabus, resources and occasional support, but they deliver all of the training to Y3 and/or Y4 pupils at their schools.
