LRSC forms new partnership with hi-viz designer

GoFlou mum and kids

The London Road Safety Council has formed an alliance with Gofluo, an innovative company that has recently launched an exciting range of hi-viz garments to help keep walkers, joggers and cyclists safer on the roads.

Gofluo is a small, Belgian based, start-up founded by Julie Vets. As a young mother with a background in fashion, Julie says she couldn’t bear seeing ‘all those ugly safety vests’ when dropping off her kids to school. However, she did want her kids to be safe and visible in traffic.

Although Julie has an eye for cool, new brands, she says she couldn’t find any ‘fun, good-looking hi-vis accessories’. Convinced that high-vis wear can also look hip and fashionable, she started drawing the first designs for Gofluo in 2016.

The Gofluo range includes hi-viz products for women, men and children including jackets, rainwear and activewear, as well as a range of reflective accessories.

Gofluo is offering a 5% discount to LRSC members, on all purchases made using the code LRSC – and in addition LRSC will earn 5% commission on the sale.

James Parker, LRSC executive officer, said: “We are encouraging LRSC members to have a look and share the Gofluo website with any friends and colleagues who may be interested.

“By promoting this offer, you can help the LRSC – and help your family and friends to look stylish while staying safe on the roads!”
