RoSPA Evaluation Workshop

In the course of our project with the Road Safety Trust we noted that many road safety teams identified a need for training in the evaluation of ETP schemes.

With this in mind, the LRSC is teaming up with RoSPA to offer you and your colleagues the opportunity to attend one of three free sessions on methods of evaluation using the RoSPA tool E-valu-it.

To be held at the City of London Guildhall, the first of these sessions on 29th August will be more aimed at new team members and will give an introduction to the importance of evaluation and will be held from 10am til 3pm, while the remaining two sessions are for more experienced officers who would benefit from a refresh and an appreciation of the RoSPA tool.  These sessions will be of two hours duration.

Below are flyer leaflets along with more detailed emails from the organiser Rebecca Needham at RoSPA. Please share as appropriate with your team and note that bookings should be made with Rebecca rather than me.

Additionally, Rebecca asks if, following the session on 10th October, delegates would be prepared to assist RoSPA in another capacity. As part of their grant funded work this year, RoSPA is surveying road safety officers about Joint Strategic Needs Assessments and are hoping to hold a focus group to find out whether RSOs have been involved in including road safety sections in their JSNA. RoSPA is looking to provide a working lunch after the training to facilitate a working lunch/focus group to talk about this, and this too may be helpful in your own work.

Please be encouraged to contact Rebecca to book places.

How do I register my interest?

To register your interest in the course, email: rneedham@rospa.com confirming your name, organisation, job title, contact details and whether you will be able to bring a laptop to the workshop.
