LRSC seeks partner to help develop mobile phone campaign

LRSC mobile phone

The London Road Safety Council is seeking to appoint a digital media company to create a series of short films for a new mobile phone publicity campaign which will run on social media.

The campaign, which is supported more than a third of London boroughs*, will seek to raise awareness of how mobile phones contribute to the dangers faced by pedestrians, cyclists and drivers in the Capital.

The LRSC also hopes the campaign will generate discussion and debate among the public and media about mobile phone use and the associated road dangers.

It is being devised in response to growing concerns among the LRSC membership about the number of pedestrians and other road users whose screen time distractions are putting them at risk.
