LRSC seeks new website sponsor

LRSC-SPONSORS

The London Road Safety Council is seeking a new co-sponsor for its website, to replace Keltic Clothing who are stepping down after two successful years.

The London Road Safety Council’s (LRSC) membership comprises elected council members and professional road safety officers from all London boroughs. LRSC provides a forum to discuss and enhance road safety provision, deliver projects and promote resources and publicity materials.

Relaunched in 2016, the LRSC website attracted more than 9,000 unique visitors in the first eight months of 2018 – a year-on-year rise of 22%.

The 300+ website subscribers receive a weekly email alert summarising the stories covered in the website newsfeed over the previous seven days.

LRSC is currently seeking a new co-sponsor to partner Cycle Confident – a London-based provider of cycle training.

Mark Bunting, LRSC press officer, said:

“We’ve had an excellent relationship with Keltic Clothing and would like to thank them for their support over the past two years.

“The original arrangement with Keltic was for 12 months and we were delighted when that was extended into a second year, and fully understand their decision not to continue into a third year.

“We think sponsorship of our website offers a unique opportunity for an organisation to significantly raise its profile among London boroughs – and the investment we are seeking is very modest.

“The money raised through sponsorship goes towards the cost of maintaining the website, and in particular the excellent newsfeed has become the Capital’s go-to source for up-to-the minute information about road safety and related topics.

“We are very confident that any new partner will derive tangible benefits and excellent value for money from the sponsorship arrangement.”

For more information about the sponsorship opportunity, or to express an interest in becoming a sponsor, in the first instance please contact Mark Bunting by email or on 020 3045 5875.
