Working in partnership with the Road Safety GB Academy, Hackney Council is to host a media training course for road safety professionals in September 2017.

The Media Training Course, which is being delivered at Hackney Council’s training facility at the Tomlinson Centre on 27-28 September, covers a wide range of topics including the media landscape, writing for news and interview scenarios such as TV/OB and radio.

The two-day course, produced by Road Safety GB Academy in partnership with Road Safety Analysis, also looks at marketing and campaigning, PR and communications strategies, and brand management.

By the end of the course, candidates will have a better understanding of the aforementioned topics – as well as others covered by the course.

In July, Hackney Council will also be hosting The Academy’s Behavioural Change Course, designed to give road safety practitioners an insight into the world of behavioural change models and techniques. Click here to find out more.
