Working in partnership with the Road Safety GB Academy, Hackney Council is to host a training course for road safety professionals in July 2017.

The Behavioural Change Course, which is being delivered at Hackney Council’s training facility at the Tomlinson Centre on 13 July, is designed to give road safety practitioners an insight into the world of behavioural change models and techniques.

The one-day course also explains how interventions can be developed to look at the underlying issues associated with risk related behaviour, and ultimately collisions.

By the end of the course, candidates will understand how to use behavioural change models when developing an intervention, and how to incorporate behaviour change techniques into an intervention.
