David Showell, managing director of the cycle training provider Cycle Confident, attended the October meeting of the London Road Safety Council.
He gave a presentation about the work of his company which he founded 11 years ago. As well as delivering Bikeability training on behalf of a large number of London boroughs, Cycle Confident also organises a range of related activities such as bicycle maintenance services, group rides and cycling festivals all with the aim to promote and encourage cycling.
David also spoke about developments within the cycle training industry that will enhance the professionalism and effectiveness of all those who provide training.
