Motorcycle campaign launches toolkit for supporters

toolkit-main

Employers and other organisations that sign up as supporters of 2Wheels London will receive free access to a new toolkit with information about motorcycling in the Capital.

The 2Wheels London team works in close partnership with London boroughs and local businesses and other organisations to provide powered two-wheeler (PTW) riders with useful safety information and advice.

The new toolkit is designed to help 2Wheels London supporters promote and encourage safer riding among their employees and other stakeholders.

Resources in the toolkit include downloadable information leaflets, infographics for sharing on social media, posters and Good Egg Guides.

The information leaflets cover the following subjects:

Employers: Why should employers care about riders?
There are strong ethical and business reasons – and practical safety reasons – why employers should get involved in promoting safer riding on PTWs among their employees.

Riding in London: Tips and hints to help you stay safe and legal
Useful advice on what to wear, riding in London, bike maintenance, insurance and security.

Rider training available in London
There are a number of great training courses – many of which are free or subsidised – to enhance the skills and improve the safety of riders across the Capital.

2Wheels London already has more than 60 supporter organisations across the Capital, ranging from national corporates including House of Fraser, Deliveroo, Royal Mail and Ocado to local NHS trusts and educational establishments.
