2WL competition winners announced

2WL autumn comp winners

Anderson Truzzi from Stoke Newington in Hackney is the winner of a competition organised by 2Wheels London over the autumn months.

The competition, which attracted more than 100 entries, asked riders two questions about their riding habits.

75% of riders who responded said they use their machine for both pleasure and commuting, while 21% ride solely for pleasure – with 4% riding purely for commuting purposes.

The survey also collected details of what machines people are riding – with 70% saying a bike in excess of 300cc.

125cc scooters/bikes were the second most popular (20%), followed by 150-300cc scooter/bike (8%) and 50cc moped/scooter (2%).

As the winner of the competition, Mr Truzzi (pictured left) received £100 in vouchers for Infinity Motorcycles.

The two runners-up, Jason Best (Highgate) and Sarah Whyte (Brent), received £75 and £25 vouchers respectively. Sarah also writes a blog, highlighting her motorcycling experiences.

The survey is the latest in a series designed to help 2WL build a picture of motorcycling in the Capital.

The summer 2018 survey revealed that 67% of London’s motorcyclists believe wearing protective clothing in all weather is the best way to stay safe while out on the road.

This was followed by ‘looking twice when approaching a junction’ (22%) and ‘keeping your distance from the vehicle in front’ (11%).
